Terms of service
These Terms of Service apply to your use of aurorastudio.co.za and to any purchase you make from us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms, together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy.
1. About Us
Aurora Studio is an online store selling hair extensions and hair-care products in South Africa.

2. Using Our Store
You must be 18 or older to buy from us, or use the store with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Please provide accurate and complete information when placing an order.
3. Products
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Product images are for illustration, and shades can look different depending on your screen and lighting. Specifications, materials and care instructions are set out on each product page. Please read our Refund Policy for how shade and colour issues are handled.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are the full price payable for the product. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
Payment is made by card through our payment provider, Yoco. Card details are processed securely by Yoco, and we do not store your full card details.
If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of an error, we may cancel the order before dispatch and refund you in full.
5. Orders
After you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email is your record of the transaction, and you can also view your order from the link in that email.
We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if a product is unavailable or we suspect fraud). If we do, we will refund you in full.
6. Delivery
Delivery costs, timeframes and courier details are set out in our Shipping Policy. Orders are processed within 1–2 business days and then delivered within 8–11 business days.
7. Returns, Refunds and Cancellation
Returns, exchanges, refunds and your cooling-off rights under section 44 of ECTA are set out in our Refund Policy.
8. Using Our Products
Please follow the care instructions supplied with each product. Stop using any product and seek advice if it causes irritation or discomfort.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including our name, logo, images and text, belongs to Aurora Studio or is used with permission. You may not copy or use it without our written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Aurora Studio is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website or products. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under South African law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
11. Privacy and Security
How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Our store and checkout are hosted by Shopify, and card payments are processed by Yoco using secure, encrypted connections.
12. Complaints and Disputes
If something goes wrong, please email us first at info@aurorastudio.co.za and we will do our best to resolve it. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may contact the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud or the National Consumer Commission.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order will apply to that order.
